Paradise Dynasty is an established Chinese restaurant chain in Singapore, and the food quality has been pretty consistent. The quality of food at this outlet is no different. Consistently good quality Chinese food and decent prices. The steamed xiao long baos are good, and you can never go wrong with any of their noodle dishes. We really enjoyed the scallion pastry too.
Great food as usual. Love the crab meat with egg which goes well with the fried rice. I guess I still preferred the classic xiao long bao than the 8 coloured ones (I remembered I had this a few years back and it was interesting then, but classic is always the best).
Love the spice in the 辣子鸡 (spicy crispy chicken) too, especially the abundant garlic slices.
Atmosphere is great inside although they have tables outside too, which may suit those who like to people-watch.
Excellent lunch i had here.
All were mostly superb and we had a great time.
The Beef, Sweet & sour Pork, chicken soup were just so yummy. didnt had it before and for sure i would be ordering these again the next time.
Top service from the staff initially but towards the end, we had to halt our discussions 2-3x as they kept requesting to clear our stuff.
Perhaps they wanted to make our table cleaner? 1 of the plate still had some leftovers on it and my friend had wanted more of it.
But no qualms overall and we left with a happy belly.
Food is good as expected. We went during the 50% off tea time and thus the price is still reasonable. Be prepared to wait for the staff to come to you as there are only a few staffs during weekday afternoon tea time.
I count get better discount using my voucher instead of the 40% off tea time offer, but they did not tell me. They could have done better in this aspect
The Xiao long Bao showcased expert craftsmanship with a perfect balance of thin wrapping and flavorful, juicy meat. The egg white with scallops was smooth, though the sweet and sour pork have a firmer texture, posing a challenge for kids and the elderly. However, the tangy sauce compensated for it. The rice and noodles received high praise for their deliciousness.
Service: The early dinner experience at 5+pm was delightful, marked by prompt greetings and service. The staff demonstrated well-honed skills and a clear understanding of routines, contributing to a smooth dining experience.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere during the weekend dinner was peaceful, providing a serene environment. Despite dining during the early evening, the place maintained a calm ambiance, allowing for a relaxed hour-long meal with the elderly and kids, as the crowd had not yet swelled.
Taken out by hosts who ordered a great selection from the menu - every dish was delicious! Highly recommend the Pan fried Shanghai Pork bun, the Yam paste xiao long bao and raddish pastry. The desserts were equally satisfying - I can’t go past the Red Bean paste pan fried pancake. So many flavours not available in Australia - so if you’re a foreigner reading this, be sure to check this place out!
Walked past on a Monday evening, decided to utilised the gift voucher for members. Been a while since we had them. Before Covid, we always visited Ion for them. All time favourite is the la mian and the spicy chilli oil dumplings. Not forgetting the Chinese fried red bean pancake dessert. Was craving for something spicy, hence ordered the spicy chicken and spicy beef. Both were on point. Fried rice with pork chop is average only. Will be back for the standard few items. Thank you
We seriously think the (original) xiao long bao is the best. Each of us could finish 一笼10pcs plus one big bowl of la mian lol. Both la mian with the pork bone soup were yummy too. The sliced Kurobuta pork were fresh and tender. Overall, it was a nice dining experience especially with the 40% promo for PGR member.
